A rare example of the shorter Police bayonet from the early 1930’s with stag grips and clamshell. All heavy solid nickel fittings. Shorter bayonet and untouched. Aluminium police badge pinned to the grip. Black leather scabbard and frog. Has original cloth Police portapee tied to the frog. Nickel fittings pinned to the scabbard with staples. Short single edged blade with 1930’s Alcoso trademark stamped to reverse of riccasso. As I have mentioned many times before, police bayonets can be a complete collection on their own as there are SO many period variations.
