EARLY SA DAGGER WITH TRIPLE HANGER RARE 9/10 MAKER.

Here is a chance to acquire one of the rarer makers for early SA daggers. CARL MALSCH Steinbach Kr. Mein. Not even made in Solingen! This is rated as a 9/10 in the rarity scale and I certainly do not remember ever having one before. The exterior of the dagger is in near mint condition with uncleaned and undamaged solid nickel fittings. A superb wood grip. Perfect crossguards. Lower one with Mi Gau mark. Scabbard is not damaged and has a perfect lower ball. It retains all of the brown anodised surface and most of the original lacquer. There is a brown triple hanger attached to the upper scabbard ring. Hanger seems to be a later RZM marked piece but is complete and still worth £250 on its own!
Blade is bright and clean but has been over polished at some time. Motto is a little indistinct but the Malsch trademark on the reverse is deep and clear. If you collect rare makers, I bet you don’t have this one! Shame the blade is not in slightly better condition, but find another, especially at this price.
