HITLER YOUTH DAGGER WITH MOTTO - DOUBLE MARKED.

A decent example of a mid-period HJ dagger with excellent Blut ind Ehre motto on the blade. Always very popular with collectors. All steel hilt/crossguard with perfect chequered grips and perfect enamel HJ diamond. The hilt shows some nickel plate loss and is just down to the steel base in places. A good anodised/blued steel scabbard undamaged. Complete leather belt loop and cross strap with popper. Leather is quite supple but over 80 years old, so be careful with it!! Blade is Exc ++ with decent surface and no damage. Motto is very clear and deep. The blade has a riccasso so not VERY early 1936/7 perhaps. Reverse blade has the makers name and logo for Carl Heidelberg Solingen as well as the coresponding RZM code M7/65 stamped into the riccasso. Nice, honest dagger. With mint and near mint examples selling for £650/700 upwards, this is very good value for money.
