A RARE AND EARLY THIRD REICH STUDENT LEGUE ARMBAND.

An organisation that existed positioned between the Hitler Youth and the NPEA, with quite a lot of ‘cross-over”. Here is the official definition “The student league of the Third Reich was the National Socialist German Students' League (NSDStB), an official Nazi Party division founded in 1926. The organization's mission was to indoctrinate university students with Nazi ideology and to align academic life with the regime's worldview.
Their insignia was in many cases similar to the HJ and this is reflected in the armband they wore. Arse cotton base with twin white stripes, one at the top, one at the bottom. A central elongated swastika separately applied.
This is a good, original example with no moth damage, but evidence of wear. A rare armband.
