A PERSONALISED/NAMED ARMY DAGGER IDENTIFIED TO AN OFFICER BY ALCOSO WITH STRAPS AND KNOT.

Acquired this week directly from a family in South London, this dagger has never been in a collection.
It has its original knot and original straps which have always been with it. Beautifully jeweller engraved across the reverse of the crossguard is the name ‘H. Kruse’. He is on the Wehrmacht ranks list and was on the 1939 list as an Oberleutnant in Infanterie-Regiment 32.
The dagger is made by ALCOSO and has the earlier trademark which fits in with the period this officer served. Orange grip, decent plating to all of the fittings. No damage. The knot shows genuine wear for being carried. Blade is in very nice condition with one tiny blemish on one side about 2mm. Hangers are the de-luxe type with metal swing tops and again in nice condition. A chance to get a personalised piece with owners history.
