A VIRTUALLY MINT HJ DAGGER WITH MOTTO!

Still one of my favourite daggers, even though so many were made. To find one in this condition these days is few and far between. This is a mid-period dagger, as it carries both the RZM code as well as the makers trademark, both deeply stamped into the reverse of the blade.
This hilt is virtually mint, with heavy nickel plating throughout and NO evidence of wear from the cross strap etc. Perfect chequered grips and lovely enamel HJ diamond, which is perfect. Scabbard has 99% of the ORIGINAL factory paint. No evidence of wear and just a few ‘spiders’ to the paint surface. The blade again is virtually mint with full crossgrain polish and perfect Blut und Ehre motto. There are a couple of TINY surface scratches near one edge where someone (the original owner?) perhaps thought about sharpening it, but never did!! These are really minor and very hard to see. The reverse of the blade has RZM circle & M7/59. Above that is the trademark for the maker C.LUTTERS &CIE of a reclining lion. Not a common maker.
Overall a smashing HJ knife which I am very pleased to offer.
These knives continue to increase in value, with similar (worse) examples fetching over $1000 in the US.
