“SPECIAL OFFERING” - EARLY RAD HEWER BY CARL EICKHORN.

If I do manage to buy items reasonably, then I do try to reflect that in the price I ask. This continues to be an expensive hobby, so I don’t want to scare off collectors, especially prospective ones!!!
This is a very early RAD hewer by Carl Eickhorn and carries the small oval 1933-35 Eickhorn trademark. This would have been produced just after the ‘full stag’ hilt was discontinued. As it’s a nice early dagger, all parts are early heavy quality. Solid nickel fittings throughout. Hilt, scabbard fittings etc. The grip is a nice pair of lighter coloured stag pieces. The scabbard has original black paint. There is a small dent go the scabbsrd edge on one side. Looks like someone perhaps used it in a bit of ‘sword fighting’ but it’s not serous. Blade is in VERY nice condition. Very clear motto and a nice small Eickhorn trademark with the RADJ triangle.
