AN UNUSUAL EARLY OFFICERS PARADE SWORD BY ROBERT KLAAS.

An all brass dove head hilt profusely decorated with acorns and oak leaves along the knuckle bow and the back strap. Black celluloid grip. The triple grip wire has come loose in a few places and some strands are missing, but the central main strand is present over the complete grip. The reverse of the grip has an interesting Klaas feature insomuch as the grip wire slants downwards, not horizontal as in all other sword grips. Unique design eagle and swastika cast into the hilt crossguard with outstretched wings. Original black painted scabbard. Some spidering here and there etc and a little age near the bottom. No other damage. The nickel plated blade is very nice. No issues. No chips or nicks. The Klass trademark of twin storks is deeply stamped into the blade on the reverse riccasso.

“The sale of Knives and other Edged Weapons are restricted to those aged over 18. Verification of age is required before purchase is concluded.”
