WW2 JAPANESE NCO’s KATANA IN EXCELLENT SHAPE.

Whist these NCO’s swords were factory made in their 1000’s, they have still become a firm collectors favourite. Cast aluminium hilt which is shaped and coloured go look like cloth binding etc. Paint is a little thin but most of the colour is still present. This type has an oval solid steel Tsuba or crossguard.
Never been apart so all the shims etc are present. Steel scabbard is in remarkable good condition and retains 85% original olive green paint. No dents or damage to the body. The factory blade is in very good condition indeed. No damage, no fighting ‘nicks’ to the cutting edge. Very bright and clean with just a VERY few old smudges. A very good, 100% original example.
