AN EXTRAORDINARILY NICE EXAMPLE OF EARLY ‘33 RZM SS DAGGER.

Sadly coming from the collection of a deceased friend of mine. This is a beautiful example of a SS mans dagger dating from 1936, with an RZM code M7/14. 1936. This is for the company P.D. Luneschloss, Solingen. Produced in the very same year the 19:6 SS chained dagger for Officers was introduced. This dagger is a textbook representation of the changeover period materials. The crossguards on this dagger are both solid nickel and not plated. The grip eagle is nickel and the little SS runes button is perfect and untouched. The black ebony grip is perfect and the original owner has carved his initials into the upper reverse part, looks like F.W. The scabbard has all its original factory gloss paint which has some age spidering on the surface, but no loss of coverage. The upper scabbard ring has its original black leather SS short hanger with RZM marked snap clip.
Lower ball is fine. All original screws in-turned.
The blade is wonderful and is in stone mint condition. All the original crossgrain polish throughout and deep grey background colour to all the lettering. The RZM circle and M7/14 1936 are the same. Extremely nice example.
