A FINE EXAMPLE OF A RED CROSS OFFICERS DAGGER WITH HANGERS AND KNOT.

I have always liked these daggers and it’s always amused me that members of a Red Cross organisation carried dress daggers! This is a near perfect example with tangerine colour orange grip, nice nickel plating throughout hilt and scabbard. No damage. There are a very good set of Red Cross hangers, which feature thin red lines woven into the fabric, plain top clip and smooth oval buckles and lower snap clips. There is a nice 42cm bullion portapee tied in the correct manner around the grip.
Double edged blade is in MINT condition with full crossgrain polish to both sides. All Red Cross daggers, both officers and mans are unmarked.
A very nice combination.
