UNTOUCHED ‘GARAGE FIND’ M40 SINGLE DECAL WEHRMACHT HELMET.

Purchased from a small militaria market in Florida before I went to the SoS in February. This is a very recent find and was bought into his shop. It’s actually how we used to see these souvenir bring back helmets and I’ve not had one like this for years. Not dusted, not polished, exactly as found. All original dark green paint to the inside and out. Paint still on the liner rivets too. Single decal is 98% intact with very minor abrasions. Liner is a little dry from storage in Florida but no tongues missing and has the original drawstring and all the little leather washers. Helmet neck is marked with the size NS64 and numbered code 682.
The chinstrap has broken but both end pieces are still attached to the liner steel loops.
A great 200% original helmet. You can see it’s been in a garage somewhere as there are spots of White House paint still apparent!
