A CLASSIC AND TEXT-BOOK ‘MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME’ ETCHED BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

This Eickhorn etch is featured in the Eickhorn catalogue and designated item 3220. It features the Memory of mt Service Time in a scroll and is bordered by crossed rifles, a wreath over a helmet on one end, and a closed wing Wehrmacht eagle on the other. It is pictured on page 111 of Wayne Tichet bayonet book and is described by him as ‘scarce’. The Eickhorn squirrel trademark 1935-41, is stamped to the reverse riccasso. The bayonet is a short type and is in MINT condition through. A really beautiful bayonet indeed.
