A SUPERB, MINT EXAMPLE OF A 2nd Pattn RLB OFFICERS DAGGER WITH STRAPS BY ‘KRONECK’.

This is a really nice example indeed and also NOT by Weyersberg for a change!! Near perfect dark blue leather to grip and scabbard. Bright plated fittings with NO damage or lifting. RLB star to grip has all the enamel in the swaz badge. Blade is in mint condition with all crossgrain polish to both sides. The trademark for Ernst Erick Witte is a diamond with a crown inside then KRONECK underneath and a large W under that. Not a common maker for RLB daggers but a known one. The trademark is always quite lightly etched into the blade surface and on this example it’s VERY feint but readable. Blade has original leather washer. There are a set of mint RLB leather hangers with this dagger and they match the condition of the dagger, with perfect leather etc Top clip is pebbled and has the RZM code and DRGM cast into the reverse. A wonderful, complete combination in perfect condition too.
