A BEAUTIFUL COMPLETE ARMY DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH LATER EICKHORN TRADEMARK.

From the same source as the other army dagger just listed. This is a really super example of an army dagger by Eickhorn. It also has the far less common Eickhorn trademark used after 1942, of the squirrel looking over its shoulder. Wonderful silver plated fittings which have toned down with patina due to their high silver content. It even has quite a few traces of the original silver wash that once protected these fittings. Very evident around the scabbard bands. A nice mid orange grip. Perfect crossguard with the 2nd type of eagle Eickhorn used. Beautiful 42cm bullion knot with no wear whatsoever. Perfect scabbard. Mint set of standard straps with green velvet backings. Very nice blade with all crossgrain polish etc. Eickhorn trademark deeply stamped to reverse riccasso area.
