RED CROSS MANS DAGGER WITH CORRECT FROG.
Always interesting that in the Third Reich era, even the German Red Cross was ‘military-used’ and their members wore daggers too! This is the dagger worn by non-officers. Quite a large dagger and was suspended from a belt vertically on a black leather bayonet type frog. These frogs are unique to Red Cross daggers and don’t fit anything else. The dull nickel finish is virtually complete throughout and the chequered grips are perfect. The crossguard features the oval Red Cross symbol on the breast of and eagle with a swastika. The black painted scabbsrd is damage free and has 90% of the original finish.
