PERHAPS ONE OF THE BEST CONDITIONED ARMY DAGGERS I HAVE OWNED!

I’m not sure where this has been these past 80 odd years, but wherever it has been kept it has preserved it in a ‘time bubble’. Made by Alcoso with the the post 1937 trademark and the 3rd variation of crossguard they used. (Why?). Anyway, the dagger is absolutely gorgeous. Tangerine grip, original silver bullion 42cm knot. A great set of straps. The dagger and scabbard have all the the original finish remaining and have just toned slightly due to environmental patina. No damage or plate lifting anywhere. Scabbard 200% dent free and not even surface scratches! Blade is 99% stone mint with all original crossgrain polish. The Alcoso trademark is located on the blade and underneath the crossguard eagle. Never been reversed as collectors like to do! The number of completely untouched army daggers I’ve owned which still have the trademark on the blade hidden under the eagles legs!! It’s a dagger that has been frozen in time and really needs a bag and an Alcoso paper tag!!
