THIRD REICH NAVY DAGGER WITH ORANGE GRIP & HAMMERED SCABBARD BY WKC.

One of the navy dagger types most collectors are after. WKC were a popular maker of navy daggers and this is a good example. All brass fittings with a yellow/orange celluloid grip. There is a small crack in the celluloid but it is at the rear section, near the bottom, so not noticeable from the front. The grip has the normal brass twisted wire wrap. It also has the original bullion knot tied in place, which has always been there. The hammered scabbard was a cost option when purchased, rather than the standard lightning bolt design type. Scabbard has a lot of the original fire gilding remaining. The blade has the strands red dolphin/anchor etch to both sides. It’s in good condition with the etch design quite clear, but there are a few old smudges and finger marks to the nickel parts. There is the original red felt blade washer, typical of WKC. A good looking dagger thst displays well. Priced taking into consideration the slight grip crack.
