A LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn DAGGER WITH CHAIN - PURCHASED FROM A THEATRE IN GERMANY.

A most interesting item which displays well but obviously has been used for film or theatrical work over the years. All parts, except for the chains, seem to be original but have come from different sources or other daggers over the years. Scabbard is real but has leather missing from the upper edges. Grip is real. Pommel is real, as is the crossguard but it’s aliminium, whereas the other bits are grey alloy. Blade is unmarked but again looks real. The chain has been added and is made of nickel rings. Snap clip is from a piece of equipment but looks good.
As I said, as a whole it looks fine and displays well, so if you don't want to spend £1000, here is a valid alternative! It is what it is!!
