EARLY SA DAGGER WITH HANGER BY CHRISTIANSWERK.

Part of a collection of nice SA daggers purchased in the last month. A mixture of early and later RZM eras. This is a very nice early example by Christianwerk - Solingen. Their distinctive oval trademark with a FORK in the center is etched into the reverse riccasso. This company were large cutlery manufacturers, hence the fork as a logo.
All sold nickel fittings throughout. A nice medium wood grip with nickel eagle and enamel SA button. No issues with the grip. Lower crossguard stamped with Gau mark Ns for Nordsee. A fault free scabbard with nice brown finish. An early 2 piece hanger with nickel fittings is attached to the scabbard ring. Blade is very clean and damage free. Alles fur DEUTCHLAND is etched into the obverse blade. Has lost its dark background (if it ever had one, many didn’t) but letters remain very clear. A very good looking dagger with a nice maker, rated /10 on scarcity scale.
