AN ORIGINAL BROWN LEATHER VERTICAL HANGER FOR EARLY SA DAGGER.

Whist most of these hangers are black and used and associated with SS ‘33 daggers. They were made and used on early SA daggers as well. It seems only earky ones exist, as I have never seen a later BROWN SA hanger produced or marked during the RZM period. This is in nice, but used condition. Has the traditional ‘coffin’ shape. A nice heavily patina’d Assmann marked snap clip. Construction is the same as most early SS vertical hangers with two rivets and stitching to the very bottom. A nice cross strap with oval buckle. Used on a SA to hang vertically when marching or similar, to keep the dagger completely upright. Actually a much rarer accessory than a black SS one!
