SWORD COLLECTION - A SUPER EXAMPLE OF EARLY ‘BLUCHER’ EICKHORN SWORD.

Another great early example of one of the Eickhorn Field Marshal series. This is the ‘BLUCHER’ and named after Gebhard Leberecht von Blucher (December 16, 1742 -October 12, 1819) was a Prussian Generalfeldmarschall. This is a beautiful all brass example with virtually all the original fire gilt on the hilt! Large imposing lions head with red eyes. Perfect celluloid grip with triple brass wire. A very long sword for a tall man! Scabbard has 95%+ of the original gloss black paint remaining. A mint nickel plated blade with the 35-42 Eickhorn trademark. In addition sword has been personalised with the initials ‘LO’ engraved into the crossguard reverse lozenge. A really great sword.
