AN EARLY SA MANS DAGGER BY F.DICK.

Another item from an old collection, sadly the owner, whom I knew well, died earlier this year. A decent example of an early production SA mans dagger by F.DICK Solingen. Early solid nickel fittings throughout. A very nice dark hardwood grip with perfect enamel SA button and nickel grip eagle. Lower crossguard Gau marked Sw. scabbard is undamaged with no dents etc, All the original brown anodising is present but the lacquer has bubbled and attracted some corrosion to the surface. Blade is undamaged and has the F.Dick arrow trademark running along the spine. The blade seems to have been cleaned at some time and lost most of the crossgrain polish. It’s also a little ‘grey’ overall, could possibly clean up better. It has been priced accordingly.
