A SUPER SET OF DE-LUXE ARMY DAGGER HANGERS.

I’ve mentioned before there are many types of dagger hangers, both army and Luftwaffe. I think it was a question of ‘you paid your money and you got your choice!’ Hangers all do the same thing, they suspend the dagger from the belt or tunic. However, there are also many variations in quality, from the basic to the de-luxe, and that’s what this set is- DE LUXE.
All parts are silver washed, the upper box clip is heavily cast with oak leaves and marked DRGM. The hangers are attached to the box clip by metal tabs which allow the hangers to swing and move with the dagger preventing wear. These tabs are also marked DRGM and have oak leaves engraved or pressed into the surfaces. The straps themselves have nice bullion fronts with perfect dark green velvet backings. The oval buckles and slides have nice silver wash and have oak leaves cast into them. The lower clips are the de-luxe ‘push up’ types and again have DRGM on their reverse.
Really nice set of straps for a very nice army dagger!
