LAND CUSTOMS DAGGER BY ALCOSO.

Quite a hard dagger to find and this is a nice example by ALCOSO. It’s been produced really late into the war as the Alcoso trademark is one of the last ones used. Sideways script with the name looking like ‘Alcosa’ with the very small ACS scales beside it. Probably made around 1942. The dagger itself has all cast aluminium fittings, crossguard & pommel, whist the scabbard fittings are nickel plated steel. The leather to both grip and scabbard are in fine condition and are both in a very dark green. The lower scabbard fitting has a small dent to one side and both it and the middle fitting have some surface corrosion as they are steel based. The blade is in mint condition. A good looking piece overall.
