A 1st. Pattern RLB OFFICERS ARMBAND.

This is a very nice armband in near mint condition. Worn by the officers in the Third Reich Air raid Protection service ‘Reichsluftschutzbund’ or shortened to RLB. This features the first or early RLB symbol with sunburst motif, large RLB letters and a smaller swastika underneath. All in woven ‘bevo’ style cotton on a darker blue background. There are single silver bands, upper and lower, which designate Officer rank. The band is sewn together at the rear and has the makers marks sewn into the hem ‘ERHA WIPPERTAL’. Ideal to display with your RLB daggers etc.
