AN ORIGINAL UNISSUED BULLION SS NCO’s SWORD KNOT.

I’ve had this for many years waiting for a mint SS Nco’s Degen to come along. Not found one, so hopefully someone has one out there and this will go beautifully with it. These have the same flat bullion straps with twin black lines, that the SS Officers sword knot has, however the ball on these is a large type with alternating black/silver cords. The bottom infill is black velvet. It is unissued and still remains in the factory tie with waxed string holding it together.
These were worn on the NCO Degen and tied in the normal method. I have a period picture of two SS NCO ‘s standing together, they are probably brothers. One is holding the hilt of his parade sword and you can clearly see a similar type of portapee/knot is tied around the hilt. A rare knot indeed.
