THIRD REICH DRESS BAYONET WITH RARE SINGLE ETCHED BLADE.

This is a near mint Third Reich etched bayonet with the shorter ‘carbine’ type blade. It features a most unusual and rare ‘Memory of my service time’ etch
This is one of the rarer etched scenes usually found with EP&S, Ernst Pack &Sonne, fittings however this one has been ordered by a distributor and has the name Esser &Co Koln with their address underneath Krebsgasse 20, stamped into the riccasso. The mint conditioned blade features the beautiful etch with the bi-plane sitting on the ground facing left. It has the aviation cross on the fuselage with 20-C31. The tail fin has a very clear swastika on it. Incredible detail to the plane, engine, rigging etc. The ‘Memory of my Servicetime’ lettering is a 2 lone dedication next to the plane farther down the blade. Nickel plated hilt is in fine condition. Bakelite chequered grip plates. Black painted scabbard.
A very nice and unusual bayonet with this particular rare etch.
