THIRD REICH FIGHTING KNIFE OR ‘Nahkampfmesser’.

These smaller proportioned fighting knives were meant to be worn either in a boot or clipped onto a belt or piece of equipment. The scabbard had a long, tough wide spring that would attach nearly anywhere. Nice slim wood grips, single edged pointed blade. A very useful tool. These have become harder and harder to find in good condition. The steel tubular scabbard has 95% of the original black paint. Blade is in near perfect condition and unmarked.
