A reasonably large Kriegsflag which is also Kriegsmarine marked, so used by the Third Reich navy. A super looking flag with very bright colours etc it is complete with the full lengthy original hoist rope which is sewn into the flying hoist pocket. EXTREMELY RARE SET OF ‘DOG LEAD’ HANGERS FOR THIRD REICH NAVAL SWORD.
A very difficult accessory to find. All Weimar & Third Reich naval officers swords were carried with this type of hanger. They are long, braided black leather straps and do look like the old fashioned dog leads (hence the name). EARLY ‘33 SS MANS OR OFFICERS DAGGER BY BOKER.
A very nice, untouched ‘33 type SS dagger. This would have been carried by all ranks of the SS until 1936 when the chained officers dagger was introduced. As I’ve possibly mentioned before, naval administration OFFICERS had SILVER insignia on their uniforms etc. This also extended to the daggers hangers but NOT the dagger itself. EXTREMELY RARE SET OF HANGERS FOR SEA CUSTOMS/WATER CUSTOMS DAGGER.
I am not sure which is rarer, the dagger or the hangers that go with it! I think it has to be the hangers as I’ve had several of the Sea/Water Customs daggers, but this is only the second set of hangers I’ve had like this in 40 years.

EARLY ALL NICKEL LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD UNIT MARKED.
Always a favourite sword of mine, and this one a a very good example. All nickel construction. With gilt remaining on the swastika to the pommel and crossguard. The nickel finish is uncleaned, so the patina of the silver compliments the gold swastikas. These aluminium Luftwaffe daggers usually stand the test of time very well as the anodised aluminium finish does not age or oxidise. They virtually look the same now as they did in the 1930’s!
