A HUGE GERMAN HUNTING CUTLASS - QUITE UNIQUE!

I used to collect Hunting and Forestry items some years ago, so I was always on the look out for the unusual. This piece certainly fits into that category. A massive piece in every way. Wide stag grip, clamshell, skinning knife and a long, wide/broad blade. I am struggling to date this piece as the Hunting daggers have been around a very long time, but my estimate would be early1900's. If anyone has any further ideas, please let me know. High quality construction with solid nickel pommel crossguard, clamshell and scabbard fittings. It is about 21" overall with this huge13" blade, 2" wide!. The scabbard is custom made and has the space for the little skinning knife (rare to find as these are usually lost to time). The scabbard is a solid material, perhaps wood? But it is covered in lovely dark brown Moroccan leather. There is no maker on this piece, but I am sure I have seen similar in some of the old original catalogues of the time.
